Menurut video yang diposting di YouTube (berjudul "Charge Your Phone with Body Electricity!"), pengisian baterai ponsel dapat diselesaikan hanya melalui dua koin perak, selembar kertas, klip kertas, dan kehangatan tubuh Anda. Dalam hal proposisi menarik, yang satu ini memiliki keuntungan berhemat, kemudahan penggunaan, dan menggoda para pengguna ponsel untuk mencobanya. Sehingga, pengguna ponsel dapat terhindar dari rasa malu jika harus meminjam seperangkat alat charger dari orang lain.

Apakah tubuh manusia dapat mengisi perangkat elektronik (seperti telepon, alat pacu jantung, atau alat bantu dengar) bukanlah subjek yang terletak sepenuhnya dalam dunia fiksi ilmiah. "This particular video is pure rubbish. There are 4 contacts in a USB connector, only one of them is power. You do not make a capacitor with a piece of paper and two "silver" coins, and anyway a capacitor is not what you need. And you can get a few tenths of a volt if your skin is damp and if you used two different metallic coins, but that is less than a tenth of the voltage you need and less than a thousandth of the current required. So it's wrong on so many levels it's funny."
Apakah bisa atau tidak, mengisi ulang baterai ponsel menggunakan listrik tubuh, belum terbukti hingga saat ini. Berbagai orang (pengguna ponsel) sudah mencobanya, selain itu tidak ada video lain yang menguatkan bukti bahwa pengisian ponsel (merek dan type apapun) bisa dengan metode ini. Semoga ke-depannya teori dari hoax ini dapat terlaksana, karena sains masih terus berkembang sesuai pemikiran para penelitinya dan pesatnya kemajuan teknologi.
